WELCOME TO THE HAUMEA PODCAST

Peter Reason, writer and visual artist Sarah Gillespie

EPISODE 1: SENSING LIFE’S SENTIENCE THROUGH CREATIVE PRACTICE

Peter and his niece Sarah talk about moths, trees, the sea and rivers, their writing and drawing practices and their new collaborative book On Sentience (2021) that follows their previous book On Presence (2019).

In their work, they ask: ‘What would it be like to live in a world of sentient beings rather than inanimate objects? How could we relate to such a world? And then, what would art and creativity be like?’
